why he fails to talk about the trillions of dollars the war lords (profiteens) loothed from our treasury, Iraq war for stealing their oil resource. And Afghanistan war for Heroin for drug lords. Same time t he war lords are making the most profit. and government that spies on is people and oppresses and terrorizes them. And what about the medicaid and medicare and social services fraud where billions every year, for the past 40 years are loothed while people are forced on harmful drugskilled

Very few senators think intelligently. Communism doesn’t work. BUT certain socialist variables can fit into the capitalist equation. There is profit INSIDE America! The system can be balanced out, but most importantly the system must be corruption and greed free and that will take a cultural revolution. Or we could just blow up Grosse Point, Palm Springs, Rodeo Drive, and most importantly every fashionable “hot spot” in NYC. If you don’t have it, you won’t want it. Dog psychology, thank you.

You make a very good point to many people about not listening to facts instead of listening to fear mongering and false Right-Wing talking points to scare people into thinking that the world is going to end.
Your state has a crappy health care system (which only makes private insurance companies stronger) that is going to be a model for the nation as a whole.
At least you have Boxer too. She is great. My best senator just died and I am left with Kerry. I hate him.

I’ve always had a great deal of respect for Senator Sanders. The Senate needs more liberals like him.
I wish this guy was my senator, instead I get…Dianne Feinstein. Ugh.
Look at the elephant in the room. Through the taxing power of government, the American taxpayer for decades has been treated like a giant venture capital fund, a source of financing for business and a bailout specialist. What would private sector investors get if they bailed out business and government? A share of the profits generated by all the businesses they invested in or bailed out for the rest of the time the companies were in business. It’s time to do the same for the taxpayers.

Whose corporatist? The working class creates the wealth of society and deserves to own the means of production… period. The Democrats and Republicans are both corporate parties. You right-wingers are getting crazy about nothing. Wall Street donated more to Obama’s campaign than McCain’s.
A sense of entitlement takes a life of its own in people. It will be pried away from them forcibly. Not by someone poor, but by their masters.
Worse than that, most of the corporatist defenders are not rich themselves, they just wish they were and chase the carrot on a stick of “the american dream”, believing they can get rich someday. These are the same kind of people who buy lottery tickets regularly and watch the results live. Morons.
I’m also getting damn sick of hearing well-off people acting like the world is coming to an end because they aren’t making 6 figures anymore: ever slept in a car w/your fam b/c u lost your home and mommy & daddy weren’t around to help or let you move back in? Ever done that b/c the homeless shelter was full? No? Then you aren’t poor and life isn’t that bad so stop pretending your suffering immeasurably just cuz u had to swallow your arrogance & ask dad 4 help. Count ur blessings!!
The only thing I’m hearing is a Top3%er trying to stop Americans from supporting taxing him his fair share, which he got a non-deserved break from during Bush’s years. ALL ECONOMISTS KNOW that 5% of Americans get over 55% of the income in this country, therefore MUST pay a percentage greater than those in poverty or middle. During Reagans years, you guys paid 60% income tax, now you pay 35% and Kvetch and moan and bitch that you’re not rich enough! Poor things…..
and the deficit reduction methods being implemented now like H/C reform (unless Repubs stop them by standing in the way, as usual) begin to lower the burdens on Americans as well as businesses, feeing up money for life. The only ppl paying more are the upper 3%, WAH! Inflation is a MANAGEABLE thing that has NOT even threatened to happen yet, and you seem like a doomsayer. If you know so much abt it, why’d you let this happen in the 1st place?! Finance ppl saw this coming, all of them! (You?)
Paid back to the Gov’t from the sale of the stock taken as collateral for the loans given, after the companies begin making money again. Banks are already paying back TARP money and we (the Fed) still have a ton of preferred stock, stock that will gain value as the “maket taxes” (foreclosures, lower sales, lower revenue, higher fuel/healthcare/etcetera costs) begin to lessen and put these back in a position of financial strength. Stocks will be sold back…..
Now if only the citizens of each state elect a candidate like Congressman sanders this country will begin to grow again into a true superpower, not just a military power..REMEMBER FELLOW CITIZENS HE IS A “THIRD” PARTY CANDIDATE..I
